Born in Scotland, on this island, my cells partly from the Punjab – also known as the land of the five rivers. ‘Punj’ meaning five, and ‘Aab’, water. From a young age I’ve always strived to flow like water. As a fire sign I also love water in all its forms, heavy rain, drizzle, springs, lakes, waterfalls, lochs, rivers, oceans and more.
Coast lines are magical places. I like to be near bodies of water.
Five Rivers may be deeply entwined with me, but the name also evokes the same watery connection with others. It still connects me to Scotland. I could write so much on this topic. Perhaps I will weave watery tales in and out of this blog.
